When presented with this newly constructed luxury condo, we were faced with a blank slate with which to create a mecca for entertaining and hosting guests.

Together, the client and I envisioned a sophisticated uptown ambiance infused with energy and style. To achieve this, we removed the dividing wall between the bedroom and living area, opening up the space to incorporate a new dining room. The existing electrical conduit at the base of the wall was cleverly repurposed into a custom lightbox, crafted from black translucent acrylic with embedded cross-cut bamboo, creating a striking backlit feature. What initially seemed like an obstacle became a centerpiece of the design.

To further enhance the warmth and vibrancy of the space, three original Lee Tripi paintings were installed, adding a personal and artistic touch to the new dining area.
